Charles Rizzo received his PhD in computer science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2024, and is a research assistant professor of the TENNLab neuromorphic computing group at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His research interests include embedded applications of neuromorphic computing, event-based vision processing, and machine learning with spiking neural networks.
