Biography
Rhema Linder is a lecturer of electrical engineering and computer science. His research education began in Texas, where he was homeschooled through high school. He holds a BS from LeTourneau University in Computer Science and Mathematics (2009) and a PhD in Computer Science from Texas A&M (2019). While a PhD student, he worked on a combination of data science and human-computer interaction topics at Adobe Research (internship), Microsoft Research (internship), and the Interface Ecology Lab. Afterwards, he joined UT as a postdoctoral researcher and then a lecturer.
His interests in education and research are to integrate and inspire multidisciplinary approaches in creative online spaces. The disciplines he uses in teaching and research draws creative cognition, art, curation, social science, AI, and human-computer interaction.
