Biography

Mohamed Akrout, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UT), received his PhD in electrical and computer engineering in 2024 from the University of Manitoba. He spent a year visiting the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the University of California San Diego (UCSD). His research interests include signal processing for inverse problems, physically consistent antenna design, and data-driven methods for dermatology.
