    Biography

    Research Assistant Professor Yang Xu received the BEng and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2018 and 2023, respectively. From 2023 to 2026, he was a Research Associate with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN, USA, where he has been since 2026. His research interests include medium-voltage wide-bandgap power module design and packaging, multilevel converters, solid-state protection, and motor drives.
