UT researchers have begun work on a project with the US Army’s DEVCOM-Army Research Laboratory (ARL) which could soon bring an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aerial vehicle into existence.

The Center for Ultra-Wide-Area Resilient Electric Energy Transmission Networks (CURENT) hosted the IEEE International Future Energy Challenge (IFEC) 2022, the largest international student competition in power electronics for innovation, conservation, and effective use of electrical energy, in the Min H. Kao Building on July 27-29.
