UT-ORNL Governor’s Chair Professor for Power Grids Yilu Liu recently won her third R&D 100 Award within the last four years for her research into stabilizing large-scale power grids. The 2022 award recognizes Liu’s latest innovation, GridEye, the first monitoring network to cover the entire North American power grid.

Assistant Professor Jian Liu and his Mobile Sensing and Intelligence Security (MOSIS) Lab have been recognized by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) for a recent paper on facial landmark tracking and 3D reconstruction.
